Hi - a friend of mine had covid at Christmas and she’s still coughing unfortunately but if it’s really concerning you I’d contact your specialist nurse just to ease your mind - all the best

Thanks..I’ve got a call back on Sunday from the doctors..but a lot of people are saying it’s the aftermath of covid 🤞🏻

I have not had covid (yet) but may daughter has and a lot of people I know here. The cough has lingered with most of them. I certainly understand why you are worried given how coughing turned out to be a symptom of a sinister disease for us. I would get checked if I were you but I would be placing any bets on it as covid after affects. Congratulations on surviving covid, I am still very worried that my system would not be able to fight it. All the best

I had Covid the last week of Jan. I only had a runny nose for Covid but have now had a cough for the last I guess. 5-6 weeks. Yesterday I even went and had a chest X-ray and all was good.

I guess this Covid cough just lingers.

Good luck with yours

So sorry to hear you’ve had Covid . Hope you’re feeling better and that it’s nothing to worry about. I think we’re all guilty of overthinking every situation and who can blame us ! Wishing you all the best xx

I’m doing well in the main. My weight is stable, I have no hunger so I eat by the clock, but I’m enjoying my food.I’ve had a few vomiting issues lately and dumping episodes most meals but nothing I can’t cope with . Let me know how you get on . X

Your doin great too..it’s gonna take a while to get used to a new body after 60 years with the old 1 😂..but you sound positive too ..I’ll stay in touch and you do the same..I know few people who have gone thro this and it’s always nice to ask other people who understand..take care…Marc

Will do Marc. One of the nicest things that has come out of this is the friends I have made along the way, going through the same and different journeys but finding ways to support each other. I was in the same hospital ward with two men of similar age to me and going through the same within days of each other, they have become like my two big brothers . They ring me every week and we meet up once a month to compare notes. There is a photograph of us ( the 3 amigos) in the multi disciplinary team office as an example to others of how well we all did and the power of friendship and positive thought. I count you as one of my friends xxxx

That is amazing,I too have a few friends on fb and Instagram who have been freinds throughout my journey,Lindsay stomach cancer .and a guy called Les who went thro it all 5 years ago ..he even came down from Yorkshire to walk the Wrekin and have his picture taken at ‘the the Wrekin wall’ a group I run which was a support line for me ,set up by a freind ..they too have been there as back up..plus a few others who I interact with..including yourself …it is all amazing,so I too thank you for support and wish you well in our life long journey 🙏🏻
