SIBO post surgery

Hello. Anyone post oesophagectomy having trouble with SIBO? I have had the diagnosis for about two years and we are struggling to find a treatment. We are currently trying Azithromycin 250mg every other day for two months. I am in week three and something is going on in there as it is altering the way my GI tract feels (i am constantly aware of my upper GI plumbing). I will see what happens but I don’t like the way it feels. Just wondering if anyone has had any success with this treatment?

Sorry I can't help you. I do take Azithromycin but for a completely different reason. I have Bronchiectasis and take these to try and prevent recurring chest infections. I hope you go on ok.
