I'm new here too :)

Suffered from acid reflux for years with the acid travelling up to my right ear (side-sleeper) and burning a hole in my ear drum so stopped eating three times a day, changed it to eating at about 11am and then about 4pm and voila, acid gone, not one for taking what is referred to in the states as the purple something or other but I do take digestive enzymes with my food as I believe we need 'more' acid to digest food, not 'less'. It worked for me, maybe it will work for some of you guys. I'm hypothyroid so not much appetite to speak of nowadays and if I forget to eat and then eat at about 2pm it has to be the only time I eat that day as eating later will bring back the acid.
