Does it make your feel short of breath as well, that is one of my symptoms. I had lpr and on my follow up he said that's getting better but I still have vcd. Do you have voice hoarseness as well
Lpr is horrible mate. I blew under on spirometry test and one doctor told me I had copd, I just turned 37. I went out of my mind with anxiety. Had a second opinion and he said my chest xray looked alright and that it's just asthma witch calmed me down. I was always telling them it's in my throat and they wouldn't listen until I saw the ent guy, he said it was lpr causeing all of my throat symptoms. One thing I've learned from all my research into it is life style changes are the best thing for it. I started running everyother day and really cutting down on acid foods. And no snacks 3 to 4 hours before bed. Hang in there mate it will get better.
Hi graham what is causing your symptoms as mine sounds very similar feels like I’ve got something stuck in my throat and chest I then can barely breath it’s horrendous- I have copd and bronchiectasis plus jack hammer esophogus the breathlessness feels like some has punched me in my gut and winded me ,and if I need the loo my breathing becomes even worse till it’s over. Thanks I’m really desperate , I only get relief if I vomit loads of white thick gloop mucus. Thanks in advance xx carol
Hi Carolg1, since it has been awhile since you posted this I'm wondering if you've found a way to get relief? I also have something stuck in my throat and in my chest where I can barely breath and the way I'm okay is when I finally can cough out the thick mucus. As you say it's horrendous!
