Most mattresses seem to come hard and orthopaedic. I am looking forward to a comfy soft bed. Also live in the Loughborough area.
Many thanks Debbie xxx

Three things.
1. Try the Oesophageal Association shop.
2. Try the attached (Clearwell) but it depends on where you live.
clearwellmobility.co.uk/sho...
If you register with them as a patient sufferer you get the goods VAT free.
3. Try Ikea. They have four different mattress toppers offering different softness levels.
Hope this helps
Good luck

Try IKEA perhaps. I love mine. They have more than one grade of firmness.
Hi I found a foam mattress online that was good and then added a 9inch mattress topper of soft memory foam which I changed to feathers etc as I lost or gained weight.
We changed our mattress for a 'Nectus' made in Ireland, it is very deep about 14" deep and has a traditional sprung lower section with a memory foam top, bought from a local bedding shop, (NOT Dreams, terrible shop) in Hailsham, we ended up paying 3 or 4 times what we had intended but it's worth every penny, I now sleep very soundly, you just sink into the memory foam and then you are off !
I am sure there will be a local bedding shop that stocks these for you to try, we spent over 1hr trying out the mattresses and ordered this, about 4 weeks delivery.
I guess I must say I have no connection with the manufacturer !
