Taken every PPI now, they all seem to make my IBS much worse. Is this normal?

They all give me diarrhoea every morning (I take them at night) I’ve heard a lot of people have this. I have only tried lanzoprazole and esomeprazole though.

Are they effective for you when taken at night? How long before bed do you take them?

I take at bed time. Seem to work. I was in 30mg lanzoprazole but I’m trying to reduce the dose so I just take one esomeprazole tab for now. I have a bit of acid with it but not too much.

How long should I give a PPI before giving up? Been on nexium 20mg, and now 30mg two days of each and no improvement, worse if anything

Why not up the dose to 40mg and see how I feel. I often take 40mg osemaprazole (Nexium)
