Flooding of the midriff and chest

Hi does anyone have episodes where the mucus/reflux seems to flood the whole upper body right from the midriff to the nasal and ear passages because on a bad day that’s what happens to me .? Appreciate any answers thankyou xx

Hi Carol, yes this happens to me as well, I have needed at times medication, to thin the mucus as I was unable to cough it away. This happens in especially cold weather. I find the more active i am, less of this happens. I do use a decongestant when I get earache. Hope this helps.Be careful though with a decongestant if you have high blood pressure.I am now 4.5 years post oesophagectomy.

Yes I get this. Terrible congestion in nose and ears. Not sure what the solution is though. 😞
