I heard my mum speak today for the first time in nearly a month as they put a speaking valve in the tracheostomy such a good feeling to be able to speak to her again 🙏

That's good progress. I was out the hospital in two weeks after the tracheostomy was taken out. Hoping she will get discharge sooner.

Good to hear this! Focus on these improvements Calboy. It’s easy to get stuck in the negative with this disease. I’ve found it helps to really celebrate these positive steps. Wishing you and mom continued good progress!
