Also find it very difficult to eat n drink I instantly want to cough n get back pain .I have had acid problem for years but it got bad recently I have been taking alot of ibuprofen n sumatryptan for migraine for years .doc said it may be ulcer as well as inflamed oesophagus the back tummy and oesophagus pain are very bad,any thoughts

Have you been presribed Lansoprazole?

Have you always taken Ibuprofen with or after food?

Have you been told to stop taking Ibuprofen?

Are you waiting for a Barium Swallow xray? If not, ask about this.

Have you been referred to a Gastroenterologist?

I always took ibuprofen on an empty stomach and no one has referred me to a gastroenterologist I'm feeling neglected n now my heart rhythm is playing up

Ibuprofen should never be taken on an empty stomach.

Are you under a Medical Consultant or any other Specialist?

I was prescribed Zoton Fastab orodispersible Lansoprazole to treat damage caused by rising stomach acid. However, I have an Hiatus Hernia that I didn't know about and Laryngopharyngeal Reflux. So not the same as in your situation. But if you are not well then I would keep going back to your GP.
