My dad is now home after 2 weeks in hospital and seems to be doing ok. He has to be on a fat free liquid diet for 1 week then a fat free sloppy diet after that. It must be to allow the leak to heal. He has his jeg insitu and now enjoying his home comforts thanks to all who replied ❤

It's always nice to get back home, and to sleep in your own bed - hope things go well for him.

That's great that he's home :-) Having the leak is rubbish for him but like everyone on here correctly points out, it is a marathon not a sprint and things will get better xxx

Great he is home. It is a slow process to get onto food but more so with a leak. Is he being fed by jeg or is it there in case? I didn't have my jeg out til after post op chemo. I'm 17 Months post op and on a new normal doing everything at a diff pace. Food and dumping are a problem but things do get better. Expect highs and lows!

Good Luck
