does anyone who is taking lansoprazole experience, stomach pain and really severe skin rashes. I have been on them since my op 3 years ago. I am on 60mg per day. I am now taking morphine because of the stomach pain. But I think it may be the lansoprazole that's causing it

I think that the thing you might do is to look carefully at the leaflet that comes with the medication to see if these side effects are mentioned. Then ask your doctor for advice. If it is a side effect from medication it can be a very individual thing that others also may, or may not experience. The doctor may well be able to prescribe an alternative.
You also need to find out about the cause of your stomach pain, and this is the priority. If you are on morphine for it, you are presumably being seen by a doctor, who must have been aware of these issues perhaps?
Hi l have been on Omerazole Lansoprazole and varies others at different times prescribed by my doctor, had my op 8 and half years ago ,but cannot carry on taking them as I get terrible headaches ,my doctor has tried me on different ones, but all with the same results Hop you get it sorted soon X
I was originally prescribed lansoprazole some years back pre-op (replacing sulfacralate) and I found myself having intestinal pain - though no skin rashes. I suspected it might be a side effect so I stopped taking it for a couple of days.* The discomfort disappeared almost immediately and returned quickly when I started again. The obvious conclusion was drawn and I went back to my GP. The lansoprazole was replaced with omeprazole which worked fine and I've been taking this ever since - so this might be an option for you.

Sorry to hear you are having to take morphine for the pain, it must be intense.
I have been on Lanzoprazole for about two years 2 times 30 Mg a day and I experienced the same problems as you.
I was taking one in the morning before I ate any food and it was causing really heavy duty pain and so I stopped taking them but the reflux came back at night creeping into my lungs and choking me whilst I slept, and that horrible cough came back.
My solution although I don't know if it will help you, was to not take the Lanzoprazole until I had a full stomach (or whatever it is we have left!) and had taken Domperidone and Buscopan at least thirty minutes before hand. Have a word with the Doc.
I no longer get the intense pain with Lanzoprazole now, but I am worried about taking all of these drugs in the long term.
