81 yr old post esophagectomy patient. Had surgery 9/1/2016. Not gaining weight back but seem to be recovering nicely.

Well done! It is always a shock to the system. Complications are not compulsory, and for many people they recover steadily and very well.

Hope you continue to enjoy your recovery. Sometimes one has to get used to being at a new, lower weight, and there is nothing wrong with this if you are keeping up your nutrition levels.
