Achalasia research

I am really pleased that Dr Amelia Hollywood from Reading University and her colleague Melika Kalantari have just received approval for a research project on 'Patient Experiences of Achalasia'. Research into achalasia is rare, and well overdue, so we are hopeful that this project will be useful and will also provoke further interest in the disease. The research process will consist of patients being interviewed about their experiences.

If you would like to take part, there is an invitation letter and consent form that need to be completed, and you then contact the researchers direct. If you email me direct at alanmoss32@gmail.com I will send them to you.

Thank you for your supprot for this important project.

Alan, is this just for those in the UK, who have Achalasia?

in reply torevdj

Yes, I think it would be confined to the UK unless there are difficulties in recruiting enough to take part (in which case I will let you know).
