My wife just been issued with beta blocker medication ,Bisoprolol fumarate, the data sheet however states "After the very first dose of 1.25 mg the doctor will check your blood pressure,heart rate and heart function disorders." So how is this arranged ?.

hi jim being a heart patient my self I would think the G. P will call you in and take blood tests ,blood pressure and do an E.C.G all straight forward and nothing to worry about.
