Grantham & East Midlands Support next meeting on Saturday February 25th at 1030 am at Great Gonerby Social Club, 8 High Street, NG31 8JP.

We have a visitor lined up this time: Amanda Edwards, Specialist Oncology Dietitian at Peterborough City Hospital has agreed to talk to us about the effect a shortened digestive tract has on oesophagectomy patients; e.g. deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals; other digestive problems and symptoms. Whilst she is not an Upper GI specialist, she manages an upper GI case load for her area, and I am sure she will be happy to answer more general questions related to our situations as well, if she can.

All welcome.
