Hi chrisrob,

Thank you for the translation and the other websites which i will visit. I was sure there would be someone familier with these procedures. As events progress i'll post the results on this site.

Cheers

A mucosal resection means removing a very small 'surface' tumour with an endoscope. They only do this when they are confident that it is very small. As I understand it, it is like a loop of cheesewire on the end of the endoscope that they pull tight, but in medical terms it is more sophisticated than that!

Hi Alan,

Thaks for the info. Do you realise that in this particular area you know more than my GP ? Chrisrob has kindly given me a couple of websites to visit which i will do. I've brought my GP up to date. She thinks the OPA is wonderful.

GPs do have such a wide range of conditions to cover, but it is good that we can provide information for them! Thanks!

Alan
