It is so difficult, isn't it? But I have learned some tips and tricks to help to deal with it.

One method is to postpone the worry. Say to yourself, 'I'm not going to worry about this now, but I'll allow for ten minutes worry at, say four o'clock' and that four o'clock comes and goes and you've forgotten all about it.

The other is to think of the anxiety as like clouds overhead, or a billowing wave, or any other metaphor you can think of. The clouds gather overhead, and the wave swells, just as your anxiety does. Then the clouds move on and disperse, and the wave break. The anxiety will do the same, if you can sit back and allow it to. It does go.

These have helped me a great deal, so I hope they can help you.
