I know I hbave OCD ,have had it years but that it is very mild and in control,so feel for those who suffer badly.my urges seem to be to put varying things in order in cupboards etc. and also to figure how many letters in words in on my head,with units of 10 being a success.is this common?

A lot of people have little rituals and little habits, but if they take over your life, it's OCD! It's good that you have it under control. If it starts becoming a problem, then make sure you get help as quickly as possible!
