I've heard that rubbing CBD oil over an arthritic joint helps on pain. Has anyone done this?

Have been using this -

Maybe depends on how serious the pain is - I didn't use it on my joints that were really bad pre replacements (wasn’t aware of it then), but it helps my existing shoulder arthritis which is not as painful as others were.

Not cheap, but cheaper on Amazon - sensiwellness.co.uk/cbd/

Correction - Has anyone used CBD Cream, not oil. My brother-in-law uses CBD oil, but reading up on the internet, it is CBD cream that I want.

I've used oils&creams on hands & back. Husband uses it on his knees. I find it helpful as does my mum on some of her joints x

I have arthritis in my hand and lower back. I take cbd gels as well as rub oil on my thumb joint tailbone area. Also take a tincture to sleep at night.

I tried the cream on my thumb, but unfortunately, it did nothing for me.

Here is a link to the Arthritis Foundation webpage specifically focused on CBD and arthritis. I hope this helps. arthritis.org/health-wellne...

The best thing I've found, used specifically on my knees but my hands have, by default, benefited also, is a non-medicated product (from the UK) which sadly we North Americans can only buy through Amazon. It is called Flexiseq and was developed originally to be a carrier for medications. However it was discovered that patients using the non-medicated version in trials were doing just as well as those with a medication included! It doesn't work for everyone, according to anecdotal comments online, but for others it is nothing short of miraculous. I had been suffering with a combination of OA and a soft tissue injury for close to a year (even consulted an orthopod re getting in line for knee replacement) when Flexiseq came into my life. Very quickly I no longer needed an elastic brace I was using, and for some reason the persistent, painful swelling also began to get markedly better, which seems like more than a coincidence but they make no claims for Flexiseq being able to do this. In the ensuing several months I've been able to do more exercise, there is no sign of the swelling, and although I do sometimes feel discomfort if I overdo things I have to say my life is really back to normal, kneewise - as normal as any life can be these days. I only wish it were easier to get. My son is now commissioned to keep me supplied by giving me Flexiseq for my birthday and for Christmas!

Unfortunately it didn't work on my thumb joint, but that may be because it is bad enough that I am going to have surgery on it.

How long did you use it? Can take up to two weeks for improvement, although I was starting to notice improvement within a couple of days. Although I suppose if you got it right away it would be close to two weeks now. Oh well, worth a try I suppose. Sorry it didn't help.
