Does stress affect OA?

Did you know a chronic disease, like osteoarthritis can cause stress on the body? When you are stressed this causes the muscles to tense causing not only increased pain, but frustration and helplessness, which in turn, places limitations on your abilities. This cycle may even lead into depression if not caught early.
