Pain feels so debilitating for periods of time.

Sometimes,I think it's the weather, maybe my diet goes astray, whatever.I ache so bad in my wrist and elbow and shoulders,hips.....it's hard to straighten and get the movement my health requires to be optimal. These times feel like a real attack on my own body,by my nervous system, muscular system, etc.Having whip lash symptoms now, also,is no help at all.My rear end colision was in January!Stress really makes everything hurt worse, and just being alive is stressful,to me,these days, joyous, too, but, stressful.I'm at the age where your kids still think you're young enough to keep up on your own, without their help, and to show your friends you feel good, sometimes you take on a little too much, and you pay a price in pain for every # too much you lift, every long bout on your feet, etc. So,partners in pain, you are not alone.

I appreciate your openness and honesty about your pain and living up to the expectations of others. I understand that you want to keep up with your kids and friends, but you do not want to put any excess stress on your joints. Basic stretching and warming up before activity, even daily activity such as cleaning, may help in the short run of your pain. You are not alone in this battle again pain!
