Hello Carole

I am so pleased that your joints are so good at the moment! It's lovely to have a break isn't it?

I was trying to remember how long it was before Humira began to work for me, but it was a while ago now so I can't remember I'm afraid.

What I will say is that it seems that everyone is different in the way they respond to the meds so I don't think there is really any way to know for sure which is helping at the moment. I think I have read that, for some people, they start to feel a difference after only a few doses of Humira, so hopefully that is the case for you.

I really hope that the Humira works as well for you as it did for me.

I would think the steroid jab would be at least starting to wear off by now. You usually need them every month if you want to keep up the same level of effect. When I had one it was already starting to wear off within a couple of weeks, though I probably had some effect for at least 6 weeks.

I was told the steroid injection only lasts for approx 6 weeks, I could tell when mine was wearing off.

Hope you are on the up.
