Hi

Just a quick question. - what is sero negative?

Is it that you don't have a rheumative factor score?

Cheers Sci

Hi. Sci,

Yes that's what sero negative is when the rheumatiod factor don't show in your blood results.

Hi I have just been diagosed with RA and my result was seronegative (22) in the 1:20 titre. Does this make any difference to my outcome usually? I had VM i 2009 ad had really only just recovered from it and this seems like another blow but not totally unrelated as I am sure my immune system was really hammered by the meningitis.

Hi thanks I have the read the articles. My titre was 1:20 sero negative although my Rh factor was 81 does that make sense to anyone? I have seen a Rheumo now (privately as the wait was far too long even for an urgent request) and he has suggested I start on Methotrexate. I hear all kinds of horror stories, and I wonder if anyone out there is having an OK time with it and has still mobility and can exercise.
