Hi, I’m travelling to Uganda in November for 4 weeks & have to take anti-malarials. I have to check with my GP of course but I was wondering if anyone has any experience of what happens when you’re taking a biological along side an anti-malarial.

I’m on a weekly dose of Amgevita.

TIA 🙏🏼

It's nice to check on your GP, I live in Nigeria and has been on 12.5 mtx weekly for my over 20 years RA, it's a malaria endemic region thus anti malaria drugs are common to us and our doctors, my doctor when necessary prescribes 3 days malaria drugs to be taken ahead of my weekly mtx and it has worked well for me, but like earlier said, since we are different do check with your GP.
