I’m on toxilizumab av been nearly two years but now I’m having problems with my stomach on the left side anyone same ?

I found when I first started tocilizumab I would bloat up and get a heavy chest, so I had to take furosemide to get rid of the water retention. After 6 months, was able to stop the furosemide.

One side effect of tocilizumab is weakened stomach lining and weakened intestinal walls.

If you are having stomach pains on one side, I would say you must visit your rheumatologist and have them order a scope. Do not let this linger as it could get a lot worse.

That’s interesting as I recently switched to Tocilizumab and found I have stomach aches and slight diarrhoea after my fortnightly injection. Hopefully it will settle.
