I began on Tuesday afternoon with this awful illness and still feel dreadful! I’ve had food poisoning before but this is much worse 😱. I was wondering if I need to contact the Rheummy nurse as my body is now fighting with this as well as RA? I’ve not taken or kept down any of my meds but I think it will still be in my system (leflunomide and hydroxychloroquine)
Any tips on dealing with this much appreciated
It cant hurt to ring and see what they say. I’d imagine not much you can do except keep hydrated and wait for it to pass. But I don’t really know. My husband had mussel poisoning last year, he was so ill I was really worried and it took a good while for him to get better. I hope you’re feeling better soon.
So sorry to hear you have this unpleasant viral illness. I don't think there is much that you can do apart from keeping your fluid intake good with plenty of electrolytes in it, rest and wait.
