Methatrexate
If you think the Mtx is causing nausea…..tell your rheumy nurse or GP…they will advise you what to take!
Check either your GP, I'm prescribed an anti sickness with my MTX and it is also for travel sickness.
Take advice from a pharmacist. However, I believe if you are thinking of taking it for nausea caused by the methotrexate then travel sickness tablets are very unlikely to work, speak to your rheumatology team or your GP and ask them to prescribe an anti-sickness tablet.
If you get nausea I feel for you. Speak to your GP they may suggest taking /changing meds that you take. It took me a while to settle and find coping mechanisms with the side effects of mtx. I would definitely try the GP or if you can't get an appointment. Do you have a rheumatology helpline? They be able to help too. Good luck x
I think so generally-speaking because I'm prescribed cyclizine to deal with methotrexate-induced travel sickness, but it's best to check with a pharmacist or your GP in case any specific considerations apply for you / your combination of meds.
