Hi, I am sorry to hear that you have Covid. The first thing I would say - is to ask your clinical team, but having said that - I didn't stop mine when I had Covid. I did stop my Metoject and my Tocilizumab though.

Hi Mrsfarge,

Firstly, sorry to hear you've caught the virus and wishing you a speedy recovery with minimal symptoms 🤞.

Secondly, any decision about whether it is appropriate to skip your medications while fighting off the infection need to be made alongside your rheumatology team (as there will need to be considerations of your disease activity and other medications etc.).

I hope you find this information useful and wish you all the best. Should you require any additional information or support around rheumatoid arthritis please contact our helpline on 0800 298 7650 (Mon-Fri, 9.30am-4.30pm) or email us at helpline@nras.org.uk.

Best wishes,

Hannah - NRAS Information and Support coordinator
