I had to come off methotrexate had bad reaction so my Rheumatologist prescribed micophenolate ,I’ve been on that for for a long while now doctor feels it’s helping me reduce on my steroids .

I came off methotrexate because it was doing nothing for me. I’m nearly 70 and my RA was awful and the consultant wanted me to go on biologics. I googled side effects of Imraldi the one she wanted me on and it said ‘cancer.’ Fortunately a friend suggested a chiropractor nr Bristol who had been very successful with RA patients. So I went . I’ve had 10 minute gentle treatments and it’s been like a miracle. I’m walking 2 -3 miles every day with no stick now and I haven’t been on any meds for 5 months as I feel so well. I came off methotrexate before my booster with the advice of my GP so I’d have a good antibody response.
