How long will my hair continue to fall out after stopping Leflunomide?

I got a bit worried last year after starting leflunomide and losing hair, but alas as many on the forum suggested the hair loss has now stopped, something around 9 months later for me.

I use olaplex number 3, pre wash which has improved the overall quality of my hair too. It is expensive, but you only need a little, so it lasts.

I took as recommended on here and by niece a hairdresser Biotin and I also took marine collagen pills. My hair falls out still BUT it has grown back full after almost feeling bald on top. Within 8-12 weeks I felt much happier about my hair and my scalp!

I took biotin for 6 months too but my hair seems to have improved, so I've stopped taking it now.

Biotin and collagen worked wonders for me

Thank you so much to all who offered helpful information. I hope I have a similar happy outcome!

I use maximum strength biotin and use marine collagen as this is easily absorbed both available on Amazon . Results don’t happen overnight but after 6 weeks I did see an improvement. Hope it works for you.

I thought more than usual amounts of my hair were coming out! and I've just had the dose increased from 10mg to 20mg. I'll take a look on Amazon, thanks everyone and sorry for jumping on your post x

LEF left my hair alone but MTX did make it fall out. Trouble is it grew back with a bit of a curl when before I had poker straight hair. My hairdresser had Leukemia and prior to that he was bald, after the chemo and marrow implants or whatever it was called his hair grew back. xx
