Injection or Infusion?

I went to get my first infusion of Tocx and was told I must have misheard the person making the appointment. Today I have been told Subcutaneous jabs only are given first. I definitely did not make a mistake and wrote it on my calendar whilst on the phone to the hospital. Do I have to accept the jabs or can I insist on infusions? I'm sick of weekly self jabbing, sharps bins, bruises on my belly and no room in the fridge! The junior doc offered an appointment with the new Rheumy at my hospital, so I am seeing him next week.

I'm really fed up being treated like an afterthought and decided to put my foot down. I want to see what the new Consultant says before I agree to injecting myself weekly, as I think I will be left on them once I start.

Any advice would be appreciated.
