Erection problems
Not had any problems, was on Sulfasalzine for a few years and on Hydroxchloroquine at the moment.
I'm not male but I do know about erectile problems. There doesn't seem any link between the actions of either drug with the mechanisms of erection.
There could be link with Rheumatoid Disease if your blood vessels are affected by the disease e.g. in arteritis. The other main physical causes to rule out are any problem with your vascular system or other autoimmune conditions (unfortunately autoimmune conditions often hunt in packs).
The most common cause is a change in relationship between you and your partner. When you have a long term illness it has an effect to make you feel more like someone being cared for than someone in an equal partnership.
Just wanted to post some links to organisations that might be able to assist you: itv.com/thismorning/article...
Wishing you well x
No problems after taking methotrexate for many years, took sulfasalzine for a short period and detested it, on a personal note anything that makes my urine and semen turn bright yellow disturbs me so I was glad to come off sulfasalzine, do you take any blood pressure or heart medication? Contact the experts I'm sure they will solve any problems, good luck.
I don't think so, but in general exercise, both cardio and strength appears to improve blood flow to the brain and may also be helpful for erections. Plus exercise appears to be a single helpful activity for general health.
