I am so grateful for this community and being able to read your posts, it is really helping.
I have been diagnosed with RA in February and I had one appointment with the rheumatologist who got me started on methotrexate 20mg for six weeks.
My six weeks are now coming to an end and I was supposed to have a review appointment at the hospital to either continue or change the treatment. So far, I haven’t received any appointment (and I doubt I will due to the current situation).
Is there anyone who was in the same situation and still managed to get a renewal of their medication? I am a bit worried I will have to do without a treatment for a long period of time and my RA is very active and I struggle to cope with it.
Thank you
Léa

Have you contacted your rheumatology team? I’m afraid we often have to chase up blood tests and in the present situation you will have to be a bit more proactive...so contact your rheumy team.
Hi, welcome ! Yes I. Afraid you have to be your own advocate in this game and xall the rheumy department . I know my consultants are phoning people back to discuss and sending treatments to patients . So keep trying on the number for rheumatology.
