Hiya Simbyy, welcome. I think most who didn't, unless, as it can be for some, it was thought to be genetic. My Nan unfortunately was badly affected with having RD a long while before the meds our Rheumy's have available to prescribe today. I hope you're doing ok & find it helpful being here.

Welcome!! Love this site. It’s knowledge has helped me tremendously in all aspects. Dealing with the medics, expectations and understanding of this disease. There is always someone who listens to my moaning my mad rambling and picks me up when I’m down but most of all they laugh along with me. Like you had no understanding of this very complex disease. So many people have done so well on medication that’s what my aim is. Keep in touch good or bad days we like to here it all 😜(very nosey)
