I’ve took 6 frolic acid tablets on Friday which was supposed to be my Methotrexate day. I’ve only just realised. Friday methotrexate x 6. Sunday Frolic Acid x1.
I’ve taken 6 methotrexate now. Should this pose a problem? Although different packets both tablets look the same and didn’t realise

In theory you should always leave a minimum 7 days between methotrexate doses. So next week you take them on monday (3rd Feb), then tuesday week after, then Wednesday the week after that and so on until you get back to Friday. That’s what the leaflet says anyway.
If I’m only 24 hours late then I don’t bother....but 48 hours is a bit much I think. You could phone your rheumy nurse.
Hi Don't worry just remember to take your folic acid 6 days. I don't think you will suffer any consequences by taking the folic acid same day as methotrexate it just weakens the efficacy.
