Body temperature

Hi all, I am gratefully 63 now an still suffering with different things with my body I can be sitting home watching tv then my body get real hot for abt 40 seconds. I have to turn fan on to cool off. Once i get over that spell my body will be normal then I get so cold an cover up. It's a awful feeling. I past menopause so it's not that. One of my doctors said it could be a mix of medication that they are working on with lots of bloodwork. I go back to my new Ra doctor in February. But until then its miserable. Also I been suffering with a lot of top of the head pain. Also terrible. My migraine meds don't even help it. I had to go to Er because of this an they blame every time I go to er on RA fybromilga pain. I recently found out my glaucoma is worse an they want to do surgery on the pressure but that is something I pray strong about. I to scared if that but my mind had glaucoma sn went blind. I can still se I scared they get to messin with eyes they going cause more problems because of my other illnesses. I don't know what to do any more because I get so up right I get tired of one thing or another with my body. Not giving up just tired.I cant stand to long or my body just hurt all over especially legs an thighs an hips. Is anyone else having any of these issues?

So sorry your suffering. I too have temperature problems like you get very hot then cold this is the RA I’m afraid. Some times I get the pain in my feet and legs from standing this is usually a sign my disease is active. Your headaches could be linked to your glaucoma it is quite common because the pressure is high at the back of your eyes I would go to the eye hospital and get this checked. I hope this helps it terrible when your scared You can feel very isolated

As well as ra I have fibro and it is the latter that causes my body to heat up from the shoulders upwards to my head and I have turn the fan on for a little while..xx

You have my complete sympathy, I know exactly where you are coming from, the feelings of body temperature rising and falling for no reason, of not being able to stand for any length of time without pain, and fatigue which is at times off the scale. But I try not to think too deeply or worry too much, simple things lift my spirits like the signs of life coming back to my garden, the robin who has recently arrived and who sings when I go outside and I try to turn my focus to them. The worries are always there but small pleasures balance them out a little

Sorry you're suffering I to get fluctuating body temperature worse when I go out shopping neck and back dripping makes a shopping trip a nightmare. Was told it's the immune system not working properly. Also find standing in one 1 place for too long painful wish there was more seats in shops usually end up I their cafe. Perhaps that's their ploy to get you spending in cafe 🤔
