Hi just wondering if anyone has tried the supplement Glutathione (which apparently is different to Glutamine). And, if so, does it help with any aspect of RA at all? Thanks!

Hi! I had an integrative doctor who had me doing IV therapy, specifically "Meyer's Cocktail" along with a glutathione push at the end. He believed it helped detox me, but I was also doing a heavy metals cleanse diet, and going to sauna 2-3x/week.

I lived in an area in Los Angeles that had a major natural gas leak and truly believe my RA was caused by this. All the toxins and stress altered my immune system. I am seronegative, have no family history, and don't even carry the gene.

All I can say is that I did a combination of things that I believed helped me greatly. I think it's worth a try, although not sure how effective in supplement form as opposed to bypassing the gut and straight into the bloodstream. Make sure you consult with Dr as to how to take it and if there are any contraindications.

Wishing you the best and and hope it helps you!!
