Elder onset RA. Does anyone here suffer from this with symptoms of PMR too? I've just read about it and wondered if anyone could tell me more about it. Thanks

Having read a bit more about it since I'm not convinced that there's any more to it than being conscious of age related metabolic changes. There seems to be a fondness for trying to segement and define things - rather than looking at the patient, their overall health and life, and deciding what is the best individual treatment for them.

But cornerhouse, you are not even diagnosed yet! Sometimes reading up too much can confuse rather than clarify as there is a lot of junk about. So do be careful not to drive yourself nuts. I wrote a post about sifting through stuff we read to assess its validity, here
