can i safely take cbd oil with methotrexate and folic acid without contacting my GPS or rheumatologist and what dosage awihout any interacts

I really think you must talk to a medical professional about your medicines or even your local pharmacist. The way the question is written it would be wrong for anyone who advised you and then there was a serious problem with your own meds could be held responsible.

Ive just started taking it - I checked it out with my rheumy nurse and GP but thats me and my nurse and Drs Just phone them and ask them - Im on top dose methotrexate and folic acid and a biologic and the list is endless !!! good luck x

I take it twice a day, more if I’m not sleeping & my RN said it’s fine it’s herbal.. the only thing I was warned against taking is echinacea.. xx

As a general rule never add anything to prescribed meds without consulting your doctors.

The most unlikely things can cause unwanted reactions to the drugs we are prescribed,

Can't be much help I am afraid as my rheumy told me not to take any "alternative meds " as mxt and folic acid should be sufficient if not she will adjust the dosage of mxt. Take care.

Thanks for all your comments, im awaiting a call back from hospital nurse specialist to sort out my medication and discuss other ways to help with my present flare up since not been on a biological injection since last November which as been a miracle for the past 10 years ...

I've been for a blood d'mards blood test that's come out a little bit different regards the inflammation markers but still within the parameters of my own tests...

We all had that sickness and diarrhoea bug over a week ago and I wonder whether its that that as made my RA really bad ..

Nurse specially as asked me to up my methotrexate meds by 2 tablets and go for 2 weeks d'mards blood test and eventually go see Rheumatoligist consultant in 12 weeks time ...
