My last TV was from Richer Sounds and lasted 6 years! Developed lines and alsorts of weird things. I disposed of it in 2013 and didn't replace. Rarely watched TV. It's not good for Arthritis!

Ha ha thats about right. Men love tv controls .i still do 1 12 hour shift in a care home .and they fight like cat and dog over the control. Love it xx

Us neither. I'm convinced that electrical goods these days have a built-in destruct mode, they rarely last as long as the price suggests they should. We have a friend who used to be a store manager for Rumbelows (if anyone remembers them) & she said the greatest profit was on extended warranties not the products.
