Yes. Im sat reading this forum. I know we are not ment have screens on as that doesnt help, but it gives me something to do. Dont know about you, but ill be awake for quite a while now, anything between 1 and 3 hours. I decided last year to try and not stress about being awake during the night and tell myself ... at least my body is resting ... that helps mostly. How do you deal with it?

Yup, regular wakening time for me too. πŸ˜©πŸ˜”πŸ˜•

It is just crazy not being able to sleep, put my daughter to bed after reading her a story, truth be known I felt asleep on her bed as usual for an hour. Woke up came downstairs and here I am again wide awake.

I do not take phones to bed as for me a bedroom is for sleeping. Just sitting downstairs with the window open as it is very quiet outside.

Fed up with counting sheep at night

No matter what time I go to bed I wake around 1.30 for a couple of hours. I too try not to stress about it , but it is difficult when I'm so fatigued most days.

I know that feeling when you are just so tired, too risky taking a sleeping pill in case little one needs me in the night.

I agree, i feel like i sleep in shifts. Fall asleep around 10 after an hour or so in bed then awake middle of the night then back to sleep who knows when. Yes must be so much harder with little ones. Well done to you.

Now sitting outside having a coffee, I know it is bad to have at night but if there is no sign of sleep then I might as well enjoy the fresh air

Lovely place to live. Few degrees warmer there than here usually

It can get cold, when I moved back to UK after years of working overseas there was snow here and it was very cold

I understand that. I still cant believe I live so far north and have lived up here for over 30 years. Its great tho, especially being so near to Scotland. Took me about 10 years to say that tho.

I have been to Edinburgh this year as have a friend who has a stunning old Scottish manor there, it is near a red bridge that used to only have a ferry. Don’t ask me where at this time of the morning 😝 the next time I go north it will be in a motorhome and will be a fun adventure exploring
