I had been feeling so wonderful.

I went away to Canada for my girls weekend and had a great time I only had two glasses of wine over the whole weekend and I stuck to no smoking!

Now today I cannot get up

My whole body is hurting as though I’ve been run over

Damn it

Always great when you have a wonderful time, you almost forget about this wretched RA that lurks, it then pops up to remind us - I’m here, darn it! I always take these moments to relax, de-stress, and be kind to my body. Hold on to those recent memories that make us smile and don’t worry the discomfort is just for now and not forever 😊 stay strong!

Maybe with feeling that much better you've done more with the girls than you ordinarily would, plus the travelling. But, & it's a big but, if you enjoyed yourself & felt so good whilst away then it was all worth it... & it's just a short-term thing, you'll jump back! ☺️

Flying really takes a lot out of me since I’ve been diagnosed. I fly to Canada from California and it takes me days both ways to get to feeling better. Especially on the way home. Hope you feel better soon.

Could it have simply been the wine? I’ve been told not to have a drop. I do t know what meds you’re on. I’m on methotrexate.

I thought maybe I caught the flu, but my friend sent me this article about flares

It seems I still have so much to learn

Good article. I’m going to share with family as they don’t get it.

I know, I feel sorry for them. It must be hard for them to see us like this as we are not the way they always knew us to be.
