Does anyone else suffer from a bout of gastritis when having a bad flare of psa?

Yes I do. I had it so bad in a flare that my inflammatory markers shot up to 75.

Oh yes! Unfortunately I also have several ther conditions that really don't help matters, the main ones being Behcet's, Diabetes ll, Liver cirrhosis ( non alchoholic), Osteoarthritis and Psoriasis as well as PsA. When I get a PsA flare it tends to happen at the same time as a Behcet's flare so can be difficult to decipher which condition is actually flaring but I do notice the Gastritis gets very Inflammed at the same time.

I have been for gastroscopies during these flares and the results show the Gastritis virtually covers the whole of the inside of the stomach and I also get small ulcers at the same time. With me it all takes a long time to calm down and often the next flare comes along before the Gastritis has had time to heal up so it becomes an ongoing thing and just gets worse!

So far they haven't been able to find anything that actually helps it heal accept time itself so I would be very interested to hear how you cope with this and what , if anything, you are given to treat it?

I have been on four Omeprazole a day ( 2 am and 2 pm) but these have just been cut down to 2 a day because I have been on them too long and it isn't good to have that much! The best solution I find is to take 2 am and then I find If I get the gripey pains in the evening I take an odd one and that seems to settle it down but I can't do this in a regular basis.

They have taken samples when they have done a gastroscopy but have found nothing obvious that is causing it so they have presumed it s just the Behcet's and PsA causing it. I have been having severe problems of this nature for around 5 years now.
