Since being diagnosed with RA a year ago, I’ve noticed you can have raised/prominent veins on the top of your hand. It freaked me out at first, as never had this with veins previously. But I now have new symptom & wonder if anyone else has experienced this? The veins on one hand have suddenly become very itchy. Have persevered with the Benepali injection, it stings every time ! I had to miss one week, due to a cold/bug, but can’t say I’ve noticed much difference yet. Seeing my Rheumatology consultant on 22 Nd June, so see what transpires then.

I too have prominent veins on the back of my hand although I have had them since before my diagnosis, which was only earlier this year, when I get a flare up near my wrist or hand they definitely become even MORE visible, I know that’s probably not a lot of help as such but wanted to reply to say you’re not alone 😊
