Struggling with salsa ?

New here. Have rumatoid athritus. Was on methotrexate fo 15 months as was fine but then got very tired n breathless so went onto salsalfasine. Started on one a day then Upton 4 a day but cudnt cope so reduced back to two a day and in doing so Ime coping well however have just started with tinnitus in one ear but not sure if it's related to me taking Salf or just a coincidence ? Just wonder if people are struggling with salsa might try a lower dose !!

Have you seen an audiologist? Sometimes when you get a build up of wax in your ears it can mimic tinnitus.

Yes aged I had my ears syringed as that's what I thought it was but sadly not. About to buy a tinnitus sound machine and hoping that will help. Thank you for your input 👍

I'd strongly advise you to talk to your RA team before altering your drugs regime. RA can cause lasting damage if it's not controlled. All the best.
