NRAS is pleased to offer you the opportunity to have your say on the "legacy of the Paralympic" games of 2012 by helping a PhD Student from Uni. of Kent . See his message below

My name is Christopher Brown and I am a final-year PhD student at the University of Kent. My PhD is exploring the sport participation legacy of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

To voice your opinion regarding the 2012 Paralympic Games on your participation in sport I am particularly interested in exploring possible reasons for why the 2012 Paralympics was not able to increase the sport participation of some disabled people. To that end, I am interested in the perspectives of disabled people aged 16+ who are either inactive or fairly active. This is anyone who does, on average, less than 150 minutes of activity a week.

I have created an online questionnaire to explore the topic in more detail. The questionnaire should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any stage. All responses are stored confidentially and are anonymous. You can access the questionnaire by clicking on the following link:

By completing the questionnaire and providing a contactable email address, you have the opportunity to win one of three Amazon vouchers. This is either £25, £15, or £10.

If you would like to find out more about the research and how your input will make a difference, please feel free to contact the lead researcher, Christopher Brown, via email: cb634@kent.ac.uk. You can also contact Christopher should you have any queries or questions about the research.

I would like to thank you for your time and potential participation in the research. Many thanks.

Kind regards,

Christopher
