HI my name is Neil had some problems over the last few years the latest being RA+OA, just had new hip op and "hypogammaglobulinaemia"

Hi , Can a person have RA and OA in the same joint?.

Short answer is yes... RA causes damage to joints which can be distinctive erosions, and you can also get secondary OA as well from RA, and you can also have primary OA in a joint that RA then goes on to attack more. Basically it all hurts!
