Hi. I sometimes too experience the same thing as you. I have been having loads of problems with my wrists and hands. Starting to really get me down. I sometimes get a pins and needles feeling in my hands. The doctor thinks it could be carpal tunnel due to the swelling in my wrists. It's not fun. It's painful and tingles. Hope you feel better!
If it's higher up the arm as well as in the hand, it could be that you are pinching the nerve in the neck. I find that if I don't look after my posture, this sort of thing happens easily.
Hi, I also have pins and needles or numbness in my left arm, after having numerous xrays after a fall the docter at the fracture clinic told me its the nerves connected to my thumb. I have osteoarthritis in my thumb and moving it around causes the connected nerves to become painful. The doctor gave me a steroid injection in the ball part of my thumb that connects with my wrist and within 12 hour's or so I was pain free , well in my left arm wrist and thumb. Hopefully it will last me for a few months I respond quite well to steroid injections.
