I have elevated RA levels for years, but am very physically active so I don't think I had symptoms. Just recently my experienced a lot of pain and an old knee injury was very swollen. I asked my doctor to redo the test to check and the RA factor is 421.9. She said it was elevated with my last blood work to which I was not aware of. Does that go down. I am in the process of finding a doctor that treats all types of auto immune disorders since my granddaughter has lupus and my sister has Reynaud's. Any advice? Not sure where to start.

Hi. Why did you have your RF tested if you didn't have symptoms? If you think you have Rheumatoid Disease now, I would ask your doctor to test your anti-CCP level. This test is more specific but you can have positive blood test results without having symptoms.
