Hi ladies is it just me or does other ladies feel their ra flares up when due for star week ?

Could you explain what star week is please? Not heard of it before, maybe others are wondering too as you've not received any replies yet. It would help if you could expand!

It's not a phrase I've used, but seems quite obvious! I think the lack of answers is more that the average age of the women on this site is perhaps that our stars have burnt out.....

My ra follows my monthly cycle, I flare from ovulation until my period starts, hoping my new dmard will calm things down soon x

The names people have for menstruation never fail to make me giggle 😂. I find I get more pain in my knees around my period and have done since I started them 10 years ago. I asked the same question on a facebook group not long ago and the unanimous answer was that they all felt an increase in pain during their period. Something to do with increased inflammation I think it was
